My R5 has the newer firmware with the extra video modes - does that matter?

No. Firmware does not change the quote; condition tier, age band and original items do.

Do you buy the R5 with the BG-R10 grip?

Yes. The grip is confirmed and priced by the team at pickup rather than on screen; mention it in the notes.

About the Canon EOS R5 Mirrorless (what a buyer checks)

The Canon EOS R5 (2020) is the 45-megapixel full-frame RF-mount body that brought 8K RAW video, 20 frames per second electronic shooting, in-body stabilisation, a 5.76-million-dot viewfinder and a CFexpress Type B slot next to an SD slot. We buy it from photographers moving to the R5 Mark II or R3, and from hybrid shooters swapping to a C70 or R5 C.

What moves your quote

The R5 checks are the sensor, the CFexpress pins, the HDMI port (external recorders), the screen hinge and the eyecup. Bodies that spent time on rigs show worn tripod threads - cosmetic. The original LP-E6NH battery, LC-E6 charger and box are each a positive line in the quote.

Condition tier - flawless, good, average or below average: this sets the base of the quote.
Age band - 1 to 6 months adds the most; 6 to 18, 18 to 24 and above 24 months add less.
Original items - box, charger, battery, bill and bag each add a fixed amount for this model; a missing item simply adds nothing.
